So How Bad Is It There?
One in six children die before the age of 5. This number is 25 times higher in sub-Saharan Africa than in the OECD countries. Less than 50% of Africa’s population has access to hospitals or doctors. Only 57% of African children are enrolled in primary education, and one in three of those does not complete school.
This is all from malnutrition, because of the low education they receive. However, I am so blessed. I am a part of the 2% of the world's richest people, therefore I have a responsibility to reach out. After preparing myself by working for someone at a University or an institution, I will be prepared to face the world in helping the children. Hopefully I will have donations so that I may pursue my work in Africa.

This was a nice article and it shows us the desperate need of attention for kids that have no opportunity and hope. It is definitely our job to help and to be grateful of what we have.
ReplyDeleteI thought this article was very informative. I think it is definitely important to help African children have an education. People should have responsibility to try and help these children.
